BOYNEXTDOOR released their first full-length album, HOME, on June 8, 2026, with “VIRAL” as its lead single. The eight-track record arrived three years after the group's debut, bringing memories of their trainee years, family relationships and the uncertainties of growing up into a catalog previously known for its lively accounts of young love.

SUNGHO, RIWOO, JAEHYUN, TAESAN, LEEHAN and WOONHAK introduced the album at a comeback showcase in Seoul on release day. The event was also streamed through Weverse and YouTube, giving international fans access to the presentation.

HOME expands the range of stories BOYNEXTDOOR tell. Its songs move between romantic longing, memories of the group's beginnings and more personal concerns, with changes in musical style helping each subject find its own setting.

“VIRAL” turns an internet term into a love song

The title “VIRAL” immediately suggests online attention. BOYNEXTDOOR give the word a romantic meaning, using it to express the desire for a message to reach someone who has slipped away.

The track pairs that idea with a melancholy melody and the conversational delivery associated with the group. Its emotional tone is more vulnerable than the title might initially suggest, creating an intriguing starting point for the album.

The song also demonstrates how BOYNEXTDOOR can revisit familiar relationship themes from a different perspective. The feelings are recognizable, but the sense of distance gives the story a more reflective character.

Looking back at the trainee years

One of HOME's most specific songs is “06070,” named after a postal code in Seoul's Gangnam district.

The track revisits the members' trainee period, when practice schedules, exhaustion and limited spaces formed the backdrop to their ambitions. Atmospheric hip-hop production accompanies those memories, grounding the song in a particular place and time.

The subject gives listeners a glimpse of the work that preceded BOYNEXTDOOR's debut in May 2023. Their early releases introduced the members through accessible stories and energetic performances. “06070” turns attention toward the experiences they shared before appearing onstage as a group.

The album's personal themes continue on “Forever You,” a piano-led ballad about the passage of time and the fear of losing one's parents.

The song broadens the emotional range of the record. Its family-centered perspective also gives the album a moment of stillness amid more rhythm-driven material.

Different sounds across eight tracks

HOME contains eight songs and runs for approximately 24 minutes. Its compact length allows BOYNEXTDOOR to move between several musical ideas without stretching any one mood across the entire record.

“Upside Down” brings swing-jazz influences into a buoyant pop arrangement. “ddok ddok ddok” draws more heavily on hip-hop and a forceful performance style.

“ADIOS!,” “DIVE” and “I Wonder” complete the tracklist, adding to an album that moves between different emotional and rhythmic settings.

The variety is particularly relevant to BOYNEXTDOOR's first full-length release. Their previous projects established a clear musical personality through shorter collections. HOME provides more room for songs that explore subjects outside the group's most familiar romantic narratives.

An immediate response on the charts

The album's opening results reflected strong interest in the comeback.

According to figures reported on June 9, “VIRAL” reached No. 5 on Melon's Top 100 at midnight KST, six hours after release. All eight songs appeared within the chart's top 30 at that time.

HOME also topped iTunes Top Albums charts in several markets, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia. Hanteo's daily chart recorded 591,900 copies sold on the album's first day.

These are opening-day measurements. They capture the immediate response to the release and provide a starting point for following its performance over time.

Three years after debut

BOYNEXTDOOR debuted under KOZ Entertainment in May 2023. Their name and early music presented the six members as approachable figures navigating everyday emotions.

HOME builds on that foundation with experiences drawn from a wider part of their lives. “06070” revisits the period before debut, while “Forever You” addresses a family relationship that exists beyond the group's public career.

The album's range gives listeners several ways to connect with the members. Some tracks carry the energy expected from a BOYNEXTDOOR comeback; others invite attention to memories and concerns that have rarely occupied the center of their title tracks.

With HOME, the group has placed those different experiences together on its first full-length record. The songs offer a fuller picture of the six members at the three-year mark of their career.
