ATEEZ, NMIXX, RIIZE and CORTIS took home the four grand prizes at the 2026 The Fact Music Awards, held at Busan Asiad Main Stadium in South Korea on September 19.
The ceremony returned to South Korea after taking place in Japan in 2024 and Macau in 2025. This year's event marked its first edition in Busan, with Jun Hyun-moo and Girls' Generation's Seohyun serving as hosts.
The results brought together established performers and newer acts, with several artists collecting more than one award.
ATEEZ, NMIXX, RIIZE and CORTIS Win the Four Grand Prizes
The ceremony presented four Daesang, or grand prize, awards.
ATEEZ received Icon of the Year, while NMIXX won Sound of the Year. RIIZE took home Muse of the Year, and CORTIS received Record of the Year.
All four groups were also included among the Artist of the Year recipients.
CORTIS collected three awards in total: Record of the Year, Artist of the Year and Next Leader. The latter category also recognized ALPHA DRIVE ONE.
NMIXX's Sullyoon and BTS's Jin received the FANNSTAR MYSTAR awards in the female and male categories, respectively.
Other Major Winners at the 2026 TMA
TREASURE received World Best Performer, while tripleS and CLOSE YOUR EYES were named Global Hot Trend winners.
The Artist of the Year category recognized multiple acts rather than a single winner. Its recipients were ATEEZ, TREASURE, NMIXX, RIIZE, ILLIT, RESCENE, KiiiKiii, ALLDAY PROJECT, CORTIS, ALPHA DRIVE ONE and Yena.
The fan-voted awards also brought recognition to artists beyond the four grand-prize winners.
BTS won FANNSTAR CHOICE (Group), along with Best Music awards for spring and summer. Lee Chan-won received FANNSTAR CHOICE (Solo) and Best Music (Winter), while PLAVE earned Best Music (Autumn) and Global Hot Star Awards.
Lim Young Woong received the TMA Popularity Award and Special Jury Award.
For fans following emerging acts, the results also included Next Leader awards for CORTIS and ALPHA DRIVE ONE, and Hottest awards for xikers and IDID.
The Fact Music Awards Returns to South Korea
The September 19 ceremony was the ninth edition of The Fact Music Awards.
Following international editions in Japan and Macau, the event returned to South Korea with a performance lineup spanning different generations of artists.
The four grand prizes were divided among ATEEZ, NMIXX, RIIZE and CORTIS, while the wider winners list recognized numerous groups and solo performers across performance, popularity and music categories.
For international K-pop fans catching up on the results, the distinction is important: the ceremony had four separate grand-prize categories, and Artist of the Year was a multiple-recipient award.
